Sarahi Caamal
Paralegal

Sarahi Caamal was born in Mexico in February 1993. At a very young age, she arrived in the U.S. along with her grandmother and eldest sister. Since then, she has resided with her family in California.
In 2012, Sarahi applied for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and in 2019, was able to adjust her immigration status to a lawful permanent resident through her husband.
Despite dealing with the challenges of being an undocumented student, Sarahi continued to pursue her academic goals. She graduated from Mt. Eden High School (Hayward) in 2011; Chabot College (Hayward) with an A.A. in Liberal Arts & Social Sciences in 2015; and Cal State East Bay University (Hayward) with a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on Pre-Law in 2021. Sarahi strongly believes that every individual has the power and ability to achieve every dream and goal they set for themselves. The key to success is working hard, never giving up, and having faith in your abilities, regardless of immigration status.
