Chloe Ramos Czabaranek
About
Chloe Ramos Czabaranek immigrated from the Philippines in 2001. She has two childhoods, growing up in the Philippines and growing up in the Bay Area. Chloe speaks English, Tagalog, Visayan, and Spanish. As an active member of the Filipino legal community in the Bay Area, Chloe serves as a Legal Clinic Director for the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California. Additionally, she chairs on the Board of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Santa Clara Valley Chapter as their ICE Liaison. From personal experience in a mixed documented family, removal defense is Chloe’s main passion as she strives to keep families together. She believes people should be able to live and make a livelihood wherever they choose to be, or sometimes, need to be. Prior to working at immigration firms, Chloe was at a non-profit firm that exclusively served survivors of human trafficking throughout the Bay Area.
Throughout law school, Chloe externed for Pangea Legal Services and represented clients as student counsel arguing at the SF EOIR and the Ninth Circuit. Prior to law school, Chloe was a labor union organizer at SEIU 2015 and organized nursing homes and agencies to win their NLRB elections throughout CA. Chloe graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law with a J.D. and a Public Interest Immigration Asylum Certificate, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Music. To this day, Chloe continues to improve her musical abilities by now taking voice lessons.
