Jose Roberto was born in Tula de Allende Hidalgo, Mexico. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration & Human Resources from Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland. He speaks fluent English and Spanish, has basic competence in French, and is studying Italian.

In 2009, he graduated with honors from the American Hospitality Academy (AHA) Hospitality Management Practical Training program in Hilton Head Island, S.C., a program that focused on celebrating cultural diversity. During this time, he worked with immigrants and had the opportunity to listen to their stories and learn about their hardships in the United States.

Roberto has worked in the hotels and cruise line industries, which gave him the opportunity to travel all over the world and to develop in a multicultural environment. He enjoys traveling, collecting books, doing arts and crafts, baking, and shopping.
